It can be your favourite book, the book you’ve just finished reading, the book you just received in your mailbox, anything. It will be your personal re-interpretation and re-telling of the book

so i choose the latest book that i read,

Love, Sex And Dating

may be it sound silly cause i read a book for teenager but this book give me a lot of new point of view. as the work explanation too, this book make me more understand about how precious the bond we have to share to right person on our life, the bond that not only about physical but more deep, its all about heart :) especially for girl keep save the precious one for the right one.

heart 4 Japan

heart 4 japan is charity event for tsunami victim, that made by Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University on Japan that held from Monday, May 2 until Friday, May 6, 2011,
and couple a day ago, my friend Tampan Destawan invite me to join the event by sending postcard to Japan,the event was organized by his friend who live on Japan. So i think this is a good thing to do to give support to them by my art. so i send my work "Ohayo" that featured on Illustration Rally before.

and the best thing is i can do freely all i want, which is PLAY...haha
so there is my play time, both traditional and digital,the simply tetris and "engklek"

why i use small Ultraman mask, because i want to represent my childhood that full of Japan's superhero memories, until i grow up..thank you japan :)

before making the artwork for the disaster event, i just think how to show encouragement and hope to the people in Japan, so i remember a lot of Japan's superhero movies that i watched during my childhood, they always give me a lot of experiences about high spirit to face bad conditions and start the new day with a new hope and spirit for the best future.

oke, tentang karya saya:
sewaktu membuatnya sungguhlah saya merindu akan hubungan pribadi dengan sang Maha Pencipta bagai tanah kering merindu air, maka saya gambarkan ketelanjangan diri seorang manusia dengan lambang bahasa universal "cinta"

dan tentang g.u.t :
g.u.t (godspeed us traveler) adalah kerjasama opet dan tinta dalam proyek insidental HEADMADE--sebuah kompilasi komik. HEADMADE adalah bagian dari cergamboree 3 (festival komik prancis-indonesia), acara tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh c2o library dan cccl surabaya. HEADMADE diluncurkan pada tanggal 26 februari 2011 di cccl dalam rangkaian acara cergamboree. proyek ini diikuti oleh 74 partisipan dari surabaya, malang, surakarta, yogyakarta, semarang, cirebon, bandung, dan jakarta. HEADMADE berupa komik dengan media kartupos, komik di bagian muka kartupos dan pesan kepada tujuan di bagian belakang kartupos. komik kartupos tersebut kemudian dikirim sesuai alamat tujuan pasca-cergamboree 3. alasan pemilihan media kartupos adalah karena kartupos merupakan media unik untuk menyampaikan pesan, terdiri dari visual dan teks, kartupos bersifat personal tapi bisa dilihat oleh publik. komik dengan media kartupos tentu saja akan menyenangkan untuk dikirim dan dinikmati oleh handai taulan! ini dokumentasi acaranya:)

Daruma Dance

as i open this year with the very first artwork,
i want to share a hope and spirit to dancing all the way this new year,
just like Daruma doll from Japan culture.

just want to share the information about Daruma :
(Daruma dolls are seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck,
making them a popular gift of encouragement-wikipedia)
(Daruma eyes-described the “oversized symmetrical round blank white eyes” as a means to keep track of goals or big tasks and motivate them to work to the finish. The recipient of the doll fills in one eye upon setting the goal, then the other upon fulfilling it-wikipedia)

so lets dance to open this year Good Luck everybody
